membership information

The Institute recognizes four categories of membership:

• Active Members
  Persons who either hold a Ph.D. in the field of Andean studies, or have made distinguished contributions to the field and shown an interest in the Institute’s activities.
• Associate Members
  Persons who are partners of active members.
• Corresponding Members
  Eligible persons who are residing outside the U.S.A. and Canada.
• Honorary Members
  Awarded to persons in recognition of distinguished services to Andean studies over a long period.

New members are elected by the Board of Directors at their annual meeting.

Currently the membership fee is $40.00, which includes the subscription to Ñawpa Pacha.
